One AI action, and the number follows the size of the job. A study set from one lecture is about 8 credits, a deck on its own about 4. A message to Tutor is 1 credit. You see the number before you press.

Every study feature keeps working; only the AI buttons wait for a refresh or an upgrade. Free refreshes on the 1st (UTC), Pro on your billing date. The trial adds 3 a day until its 30 are in. A smaller job often still fits.

The 14 days start when you connect Canvas. When they end you drop to Free, no card ever charged: 3 AI credits a month, 2 courses on the calendar feed, Canvas checked once a day, and Claude and ChatGPT off.

Yes, and the app keeps working. Your data is on your device, so cancelling drops you back to the free plan rather than locking you out of anything.

The annual price is the discount: $44 a year is $3.67 a month against $4.99 paid monthly. There is no separate code and no .edu address to verify, because the whole product is priced for students.
